The chapter was pretty straight forward giving us information about one of the most influential steps of the art process. One part of the chapter that struck me as interesting was the section accepting responsibility. With critiques not only are you exposing yourself through your artwork you are accepting responsibility for what you have and have not done. I know that when I feel I haven’t put my best foot forward critiques can be extremely trying. This chapter also gave some good basic advice on how to brew your own creativity through – organization, brainstorming, and such. It was a good starter passage but nevertheless nothing that I haven’t heard before.
