Chp. 7 Essentials

As everyone else would say, chapter seven did a great job on outlining the steps needed to strengthen any artistic project. You really need to have your thinking cap on and you can’t just throw something together and be successful (unless you’re one lucky SOB). Is my work balanced, does it need something else, what do I need to get rid of, or should I just scrap the whole thing? Almost all the time your initial idea will need improvement and sometimes it takes another person to tell it to you straight to your face.

I personally struggle when it comes to critiquing. When you make something your way and you’re satisfied with the result, you do not want to hear any complaints about it because it is perfect in your eyes. I hope to be more open to criticism whether objective or subjective and not overly defensive on everyone’s comments. Sorry in advance.

After reading the chapter I decided I really want a giant badminton shuttle on my front lawn.
