Knowledge Transfer

My concept came from the idea of what environment a confined space can produce. To me a confined space creates a feeling of solitude in a person. It's easy to fall into a state of self reflection and self searching; to find wisdom, or at least the wisdom we are capable of because of the knowledge we hold. Since knowledge comes from books, i decided to use books as the physical representation of the gain of knowledge through the passage of time.
The process shown in the video of reading the books and ripping certain pages from it is to represent the fault in memory and knowledge. You will never remember everything you are told or you read, it is just not humanly possible, but the one virtue we do have is selective memory. Whether it was something you really found inspiring, or research it and studied a subject for a very long time; humans pick and choose what they want to remember, what knowledge they want to retain. This is why i pick and chose the pages and rip them from the book, symbolizing the transfer of knowledge from the books to me. I sew the pages I selected from the books together to form my own book which represents my wisdom and knowledge.

Video notes ad question:
-Please ignore the last few seconds of the video where there are 2 random clips showing that is some extra footage i was thinking of putting into the final video.
- I have the sound of the passing pages throughout the entire video to set a time rhythm , my roommate said it was a little distracting. I was trying to put the sound as a background, but it turned out quite loud so I intend to lower the volume more, is this a good idea?
- also the video I feel, it's close to done, what i have to add is the sewing scenes which I video taped last night. The only issue I'm having is on what should be my last scene. I have several options:
1. I put the cover on the book, tie the knot and walk away from the book, while the camera zooms into the book.
2. I put the cover on the book, tie the knot and then walk away with the book.
3.I put the cover on the book, tie the knot and then walk away with the book, to have another scene showing me leave the book in a pile and then walk away from it.
4. I put the cover on the book, tie the knot while the camera is in a close up ofmy hands tying the knot and then it cuts.
