My video project is working with the idea of ceremony as a means for self preservation and transcending death. It takes place in an an abstracted environment with minimal audio to emphasize the importance of the individual and not the location of the experience. The ceremony itself is a combination of both Egyptian mummification and baptismal practices commonly used by the Christian and Catholic church.
